I am a computational and experimental neurobiologist studying the molecular mechanisms of neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders. My work integrates synaptic proteomics, transcriptomics, and single-cell genomics with genetic mouse models to connect human disease risk genes to synaptic and circuit phenotypes, with particular depth in RNA regulation in the brain — mRNA translation, splicing, and post-transcriptional control.
I completed my Ph.D. with Eric Klann at the Center for Neural Science, New York University, and carried out postdoctoral training with Morgan Sheng at Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
